Our latest cover spotlights musician, singer, songwriter and band frontman, Marcus King. We have enjoyed numerous King performances, including a crowd pleasing appearance at the all-star “Love Rocks NYC” (Beacon Theatre in New York City in 2019), South By Southwest in Austin, Texas, and “Live at the Soul Kitchen” in Mobile, Alabama. King’s Grammy-nominated 2020 solo album, “El Dorado” was named favorite album of 2020 by The Southland Music Line’s Stephen Anderson.

The Southland Music Line’s Stephen “Andy” Anderson has had the honor photographing music icon and fellow Gulf Coast native “Jimmy Buffett” on a number of occasions. One of his photos of Buffett appears on the cover of Ryan White’s latest book “Jimmy Buffett: A Good Life All the Way” (published by Touchtone / an imprint at Simon & Schuster / A subsidiary of the CBS Corp.). Ryan White, the author of “Springsteen: Album by Album” and “Jimmy Buffett: A Good Life All the Way”, has twice been named one of the top feature writers in the country by the Society for Features Journalism.
