A collection of photos taken at The Mississippi Bicentennial Event held on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 of 2017. The event celebrating Mississippi’s 200th year of statehood included The U.S. Postal Service release of new “Forever” stamp recognizing Mississippi as “Birthplace of America’s Music”.The Southland Music Line’s Stephen Anderson had the privilege of photographing this historical event held at Centennial Park in Gulfport, Mississippi.
