On Sunday, July 4, 2021, the newly remodeled Lake Forest Yacht Club in Daphne, AL reopened to the public. The very special day featured family activities, food, drink and live music. At 12 noon, the day’s festivities began with the official 4th of July observance, which included the raising of the United States flag on the back deck overlooking Mobile Bay. Directly following the ceremony, Sugarcane Jane (who have recently opened shows for Dwight Yoakam) kicked off an afternoon of live music. Sugarcane Jane, the husband-wife duo of Anthony and Savana Crawford, have been named The Southland Music Line Readers’ Choice “Music Artist of the Year” for six consecutive years (five times as a duo and once as part of Willie Sugarcapps) since 2015.

We congratulate everyone involved with an outstanding reopening of the yacht club. This July 4th things got off to a spectacular start of what we hope will be a continued success. (Comments by Johnny Cole)
