Abe Partridge, a Mobile native son, renowned singer, wordsmith and folk artist, made his triumphant return to Callaghan’s Irish Social Club, one of Mobile, Alabama’s most popular music destinations on Sun. Mar. 27, 2022. Partridge has been featured in numerous articles and photo collections here at The Southland Music Line, including being named as our 2018 Music Artist of the Year and his album, Live In the UK: Agony Is Alright, was voted as favorite album by our readers in 2021.
On the Mar. 27th show, Partridge was accompanied by Amanda Donald (fiddle & mandolin), Clint Lewis (upright bass) and Greg DeLuca (drums). Opening the show was Fayetteville, West Virginia’s Andrew Adkins who is widely known for his work with The Wild Rumpus, the popular Appalachian Stompgrass band and his widely acclaimed solo career.
