Along The Pontchartrain Concert Series VII
On Saturday, April 16, 2022, The Southland Music Line photographer, Stephen Anderson, attended “Along The Pontchartrain Concert Series VII” overlooking the picturesque Chef Menteur Pass near Bayou Sauvage. This much anticipated event was The Southland Music Line’s second straight year to attend and cover the outstanding event.
The day’s live music featured many of the region’s best and most talented entertainers. Its amazing lineup consisted Brian Stoltz, Papa Mali, John “Papa” Gros, Casandra Faulconer, Russ Broussard and featured Brian Daley, who opened the show. We have highlighted the majority of these music artists, who are favorites of our readers, in articles and photo collections at our website. Most recently, Anderson photographed Papa Mali and Casandra Faulconer at a show on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful and cooperative at this year’s outdoor gathering with lots of sunshine. The “Rain or Shine” event was held indoors in 2021 due to stormy weather, but was still thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance. We also invite you to check out those memories.
Not only does “Along The Pontchartrain Concert Series” feature incredible music, but also includes outstanding southern Louisiana cuisine – yes, lots and lots boiled crawfish!
