2015 Readers’ Choice Awards
This year, The Southland Music Line presented an opportunity to its readers to participate in our first Readers’ Choice Awards. The voting took place during the entire month of November and first week of December.
The awards were made up of 4 categories and one question. We asked our readers to select 2015’s Music Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Top Music Venues (indoor and outdoor) and a question pertaining to the number of live music shows attended in 2015.
The votes were received from a wide range of places across U.S., Canada and Europe. The vast majority were from the southern portion of the United States, including Nashville, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Austin. In the end, though The Gulf Coast sent in the most votes.
